Other students who want an opportunity to raise their grades may also choose one or more assignments. All assignments are due by April 26th and are to be typewritten. | 1. The seems to be a conflict between FS 760.01(2) - 760.07, versus 509.092, as to whether or not a public lodging establishment may discriminate based on a person's age, or perhaps marital status. Describe the conflict, the arguments both for and against the issue, and then your conclusion as if you were the judge! | | 2. Is there any requirement under Florida or Federal Labor Standards for employers to give employees breaks during the work day, and if so, is there any different criteria for minors? Please cite your sources. | | 3. After receiving medical benefits for the past 12 weeks of maternity leave, an employee returns to work for one week, and then quits. The employer seeks your advice as to whether or not she can demand the employee repay the employer for the insurance premiums the employer paid during the absence.
